Welcome to the Tree

The purpose of this site is to make a suggestion about people's brains, yours and mine. It concerns getting pleasure from using one's mind. It combines some facts that are well known with some that are less commonly noticed, and reaches a conclusion that is intended to be of a helpful kind.

If you are new to the site, I suggest that you go to the Introduction and from there to the Central Idea, but if you wish you can go straight to the Conclusion and get an overview from there.

If you have visited before, you may wish to view the Tree or select from the list on the left.

Any time you need it, there is also a diagram of the site
